We were in town to do a college tour at Bucknell University and wanted to have a nice dinner after a long day of travel. I knew nothing about Lewisburg but was looking for something farm to table and Elizabeth’s an American Bistro popped up. I knew we were in for a treat after reading the reviews and after hearing from the hotel staff that Elizabeth’s was the preeminent restaurant in the area. It definitely lived up to the hype. We were very lucky to get a table out on their lovely and fairly large outdoor patio, they do have heaters if it gets cold. We had the trout dish, the burger, and the crab cake. All cooked to perfection. We were full, but after seeing every table ordering dessert we knew we had to order dessert. They bring out a tray showing you samples of that nights dessert options. All were fantastic choices . We ended up with the rhubarb deep dish crumb dessert which came with several scoops of vanilla ice cream. This was by far the best rhubarb dessert we’ve ever had — you must try it if they have it on their menu. Service was excellent and very attentive! Highly recommend.

It is a real gem in the middle of Pennsylvania. We stopped by to grab a food on the way from Watkins Glenn , New York back to Harrisburg. We were absolutely amazed by this place. Food is delicious!!! . Presentation of food is so beautiful. Service is top-notch. Atmosphere is amazing. We even had a live music seated outside. Inside is beautiful. It is a real gem !!! . I would even like to come back just for the special event to this place even though it’s one hour plus drive from Harrisburg.! Good job guys. Keep it up.

We had a lovely evening with Julia as our phenomenal server! She was everything and more in terms of her warmth, knowledge, kindness and humor. Ask to be seated in her section! The tuna and trout were both wonderfully prepared. The salads were sooo fresh and the chocolate cake was sinful!

We had an excellent Brussels sprouts salad -- big enough for 3 at least -- and then our lamb came out, quite overcooked and thus, tough. We had ordered medium rare. Quickly and graciously they made it right, presenting the dish tender and appropriately cooked. A classy place!
